Microsoft, bowing to legal pressure from their Java settlement, will no longer be distributing several products. The big products include Office 2000, IE 5.5, SQL Server 7 and Windows 98 (except SE). Support for these products is expected to remain.
I'm glad most of this stuff is being tossed, save for IE 5.5, which is still used way too much.
