With new technology comes new services
If you are too lazy to rip your CD collection so you can have something to put on your iPod, then you can have LoadPod do it for you. They pick up your iPod and CD collection, and then return the CDs and a fully-loaded iPod within 5 days. Good idea, but limited: why not offer the service for all MP3 players? Thanks to MacSlash (not Slashdot, not News.com.com.com.com).

$1.50 per CD plus a $20 travel charge? That's $95 for 50 cd's! Why not just buy 95 new songs for you iPod? This is targeted specifically to rich, stupid people.
I thought it was illegal to allow anyone physical access to your CD's. DMCA, Section 420, article 3: Definition of Fair Use, "You are only allowed to listen to your music collection in your home, with the lights turned off, completely covered with a blanket, while wearing headphones." Failure to use headphones exposes you to the possibility that someone else may hear your music, thus violating fair use. Should this happen, you are liable for fines up to twelve gazillion dollars.
